I am so excited that my book, Today and Forever: A Narrative Coloring Book, is now published and available on Amazon. It is my hope that through the story and the illustrations, this book will be a source of healing comfort and hope for people who have experienced trauma. By utilizing this creative artistic technique, I hope that people will regain a sense of self-confidence, resilience, and perseverance.

As this book is circulated to many people who work with children and adults who have experienced trauma, especially gun violence, I am honored to hear their opinions and reviews of my book and its relevance to their practices.

This blog features a review from Mr. John H. Morton III. He has “over 25 years of experience serving in the mental/behavioral health field, I have served in the capacity as an educator in the public and private school sector, teaching students in the exceptional educational programs with learning and behavioral challenges, along with serving in the Behavioral Health field in various capacities to provide individuals therapeutic service provision.”

He says that: “As I engaged in “Today and Forever”, it allowed me to  experience the beauty of life, not neglecting the challenges of it at times, but reminding me of the blessings of “new” beginnings, giving a greater “hope for a brighter future”.

Expert Shares Review of Narrative Coloring Book: “A Great Resource”

Today and Forever” is a narrative coloring book that is therapeutic, inspirational and serves its purpose, which is being a resource that aids in providing healing to those impacted by tragedy, such as gun violence. Utilizing art therapy, which is embodied in this narrative coloring book, helps individuals express emotions and experiences that are challenging and have an impact on their mental health.

As I engaged in “Today and Forever”, it allowed me to experience the beauty of life, not neglecting the challenges of it at times, but reminding me of the blessings of “new” beginnings, giving a greater “hope for a brighter future”. “Today and Forever” is a great resource that can be used for therapeutic purposes, along with being a self-care practice, which I recommend to everyone.

Sincerely,
