The American Council of the Blind of Virginia (ACBVA) book club welcomes book lovers to join us at our next virtual book club meeting, on Thursday, August 22 at 7 PM. We look forward to a friendly and fun conversation about what we are currently reading and our favorite authors and stories.
The ACBVA’s monthly book club is unlike other book clubs where specific genres of books are discussed, we invite participants to share a diverse and eclectic list of books covering a variety of fields.
ACBVA Bookworms gather on Zoom in a warm and inviting atmosphere to listen and respond to the book selection. Since all genres are discussed, you are certain to hear about authors you know and also be exposed to new genres you may not have considered before. From historical, novels, romance, crime mysteries, political satires, and inspirational autobiographies, the variety is exciting and endless.
Our meetings generally alternate in the afternoon or evening once a month. Join our email distribution list to receive updated times and information for the next book club meeting.
