National SAFE Day

For National SAFE Day, I wanted to share an event I have coming up on Friday June 6th, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

I am excited to join Hopewell/Petersburg Loving Steps at the Bridging The Gap community outreach event focusing on the impact of gun violence. As a part of my Color Love Project, I will distribute Crayola Crayons and sample illustrative pages from my new book, Today and Forever: A Narrative Coloring Book.

I hope that children, parents, and community organizers will enjoy the story of resilience, support and hope in the book. Using concepts from art therapy, they will create their own beautifully colored works of art and regain a sense of self-awareness, self-confidence and self-empowerment.

I would love to see you there! Stop by my table to say hello. Join me in sharing this message of love, endurance and faith with our community to end the crisis of gun violence.
