Happy Mother’s Day!
When I celebrate Mother’s Day, I not only think of women who have had biological children, I also think of the many women and men in this world who have given their time and hearts to the nurturing and development of others. I so appreciate those people throughout my life who have been so supportive of me, especially when I was away from my biological mother, for instance, in college and in my initial years of marriage, away from home. I have been blessed with many spiritual mothers in the church who have mentored me, prayed for me and shared their wisdom on life challenges with me.
I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Mother’s Day, and hope your day is filled with abundant love and blessings.
