Celebrate My Birthday!
I face my birthday with jubilation. I throw my hands in the air and dance around the room, shouting for joy and singing. I am just so happy to be alive and blessed. My birthday, for me, is a celebration of what God has done for me through the years of my life, and I know that I am in a good place today because of His love, grace, and mercy.
I look around today at my life, and I am so grateful for my family and my friends who love so deeply and care for me and just accept me as I am. I have grown into a woman who loves who she is, and knows that she is not perfect, but that she is perfectly made, and is made to be resilient, resourceful and to adapt. My faith in God will continue to sustain me throughout the days of my life, and keep me singing my song, “Celebrate My Birthday!”
I thank you all for your well-wishes for me today and always.
