Once again, the fabulous young writer, Elizabeth Baber, is gracing my blog’s page with a thoughtful and personal piece of encouragement for young writers.
Thank you, Helena Richardson, for founding the WNC Lagniappe Women’s Group. When I was invited to attend your gathering, I knew I would be in an environment of professional, caring women. But I must say, I also got a little something extra!
My daughter’s mother-in-law, Sue Roop, loves sharing her yarn creations with family and friends. Each item is truly a handmade work, designed with love and care. Enjoy learning more about how she dedicates her time to skillfully create and share her handmade gifts from her home in New Mexico.
As this book is circulated to many people who work with children and adults who have experienced trauma, especially gun violence, I am honored to hear their opinions and reviews of my book and its relevance to their practices. This blog features a review from Mr. John H. Morton III.
I want to introduce you once again to my sister-in-law, China Archer. You may remember she was one of the fabulous voices on my gospel hit Tell Me Your Testimony.
For National Crafting Month, she shares her passion for her gift of crafting and sharing her blessing of sewing with others.
Meet the wonderful team that helped me create and publish my new book, Today and Forever: A Narrative Coloring Book. Each person highlighted was an invaluable source of knowledge, team-spirited collaboration, and warm support. I could not have done it without them!
It is National Crafting Month, and while I myself have no talent for using my hands with sewing needles or crochet hooks, I so admire the people in my family who are talented crafters. In this blog, I am introducing everyone to my niece Devonne Hill, who for quite some time has shared her beautiful knitted and hand-sewn items with family, friends, and even on social media through YouTube and an online store.
Enjoy this time with a dynamic crafter in my family.
As we celebrate World Storytelling Day, I am proud to share again the talented and creative work of the young author, Elizabeth Baber. Her story, Listen and Remember, will make you feel like you are being warmed by a cozy fire, and listening to an ancient soul sharing wisdom and knowledge for you and for you to pass on.
I hope you enjoy this story, and share it with others! And please share with me stories that are meaningful to you. I’m here to listen.
