The American Council of the Blind of Virginia’s (ACBVA) monthly book club gives you the opportunity to do just that! Unlike other book clubs where specific genres of books are discussed, the ACBVA book club invites participants to share a diverse and eclectic list of books covering a variety of fields.Â

Juneteenth is also a warning for us to safeguard the rights and privileges we currently have to ensure they remain a part of our democracy. I am proud of my daughter, Kindra Hill, who also shared her thoughts about emancipation today.
I am shouting out loud for the dads who are involved in their child’s lives, men who are fathers not in name only, but also in actions. Dads contribute to the experience, atmosphere, and well-being of the household.
